The 4th Nordic Workshop on Cosmogenic Nuclides will be held at Hotel Union Geiranger, Norway.
Geiranger is a small village with a population of about 240 at the head of Geirangerfjord, home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. In 2005 Geirangerfjord was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hotel Union is adjaecent to the Norsk Fjordsenter, the authorised visitors’ centre for the UNESCO West Norwegian Fjords World Heritage Site.
Note that all accomodation and travel* should be booked by participants themselves.
Accommodation is in high-demand in Geiranger in the summer tourist season and we have pre-reserved rooms at the main workshop venue (Hotel Union) for all participants, 3-6 June 2018. Hotel Union is very well equipped with swimming pool and spa. Single room rate (including breakfast): 750 NOK per person per night. Double room rate (including breakfast): 650 NOK per person per night. Deadline for booking accommodation at Hotel Union is 23 March 2018. A booking-code will be made available when registration opens.

Group transport to and from Ålesund Vigra (AES) airport to Geiranger on 3 and 6 June has been pre-arranged, and sign-up is available at the same time as registration.
If you do not plan to use the group transport offer please contact the local Organising Committee for advice on access to Geiranger.
